On March 7th, the EXATEL SOC team participated in the international Splunk Boss of the SOC (BOTS) competition and achieved the 3rd highest score among Polish teams and the 66th place in the EMEA region. A total of 370 teams, including 36 from Poland, competed in this year’s event.
The EXATEL SOC team participated with the following members:
- Rafał Łączkowski – team captain,
- Anna Górecka,
- Łukasz Kurek,
- Rafał Litwińczuk.
Each organization participating in the competition, could field a team consisting of up to 4 members. In total, about 1400 competitors participated. Among the Polish teams, EXATEL SOC competed against teams from its direct SOC competitors, partners and companies from the public and private sectors.
Splunk platform was purchased by EXATEL in mid-December 2023. Despite the short time to familiarize ourselves with the solution, we are proud of the achieved result and motivated to fight for an even higher position in the next competition,” – commented Rafał Łączkowski, Head of SOC Defensive Security Department at EXATEL.
