  • EXATEL is beginning a free security reconnaissance at COAR (Government Administration Service Centre).

  • The services of EXATEL Security Operations Centre are the main prize in the knowledge competition within the series of ‘Remote Work Security’ webinars.

  • In order to win the grand prize, participants had to answer a set of questions regarding various cybersecurity aspect associated with remote work.

12 webinars, 11 security experts, two dedicated paths – the first for local government unit (LGU) representatives, and the second for business and large institutions… a large dose of expertise and a total of several hundred attendees – and all this tied up with a competition covering the information gained during each meeting. This is a brief description of EXATEL’s ‘Remote Work Security’ cycle, which was held at the turn of May and June this year.

Many participants battled for the victory in this contest. However, there could only be one winner – the people representing COAR (Government Administration Service Centre), who exhibited the highest level of knowledge in the discussed field. Today, Ewa Madej-Popiel – Director of COAR, received the Grand Prize from Vice-President of EXATEL – Rafał Magryś. It is a security reconnaissance conducted by EXATEL cybersecurity experts.

What is a Security Reconnaissance?

It is a security-related service involving a several-day simulation of actual attacks on the network structure of an organization. The outcome of the work is a report, wherein Security Operations Centre experts indicate vulnerabilities in security systems. They also convey specific recommendations for actions aimed at avoiding a real attack in the future.

Benefits of an EXATEL security reconnaissance

  • Easier security management within an organization owing to vulnerabilities identified within IT system security and processes covering security management.
  • Defining priority actions organizing cybersecurity issues, in terms of ensuring conformity with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Possibility to utilize additional support from EXATEL experts aimed at long-term planning of security system development and step-by-step improvement of security level.

We would like to thank everyone for taking part in the competition and once again congratulate COAR on their victory!
