Optical fibre network in Łódź

Exatel will lay 100 kilometres of a new fibre-optic network in Łódź. Following a public procurement procedure, the city authorities selected Exatel as the contractor for its modern metropolitan network. The tender had as participants, the largest international telecommunication companies.

The next-gen network will connect 90 municipal organizational units of the Łódź City Hall. A modernized data transmission network will streamline the management of the developing city. The entire process of building the infrastructure and commissioning the services will take 12 months.
