A discussion organized by the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) on 5G technology implementation strategy was held on February 16. Representatives of the telecommunications industry, regulators and other interested parties were in attendance. The main topic was the security of new technologies in the perspective of Industry 4.0.

“A very meaningful meeting. The President of UKE should be thanked for that. This was the right start to a serious discussion on implementing 5G in Poland” – said Nikodem Bończa Tomaszewski, EXATEL President of the Board.

EXATEL is the first company in Poland to have tested 5G technology in public space within the international 5G RAPID project. It is also one of the few research & development projects that this Polish operator is currently working on.
