We cannot and must not be helpless in the face of cybercrime. Knowledge and appropriate technological solutions enable effective protection against threats, detecting attacks and pursuing perpetrators. Naturally, this requires considerable skill potential – a fact that the Police is well aware of. Thus, the Cybersecurity Summer School initiative.

Who is the organizer?

The Police Academy in Szczytno, in cooperation, among others, with the Ministry of Interior and Administration, the Government Centre for Security, Polska Wytwórnia Papierów Wartościowych SA and Polskie Sieci Energetyczne SA is organizing a course during which our experts will share their knowledge and teach how to truly manage cybersecurity in practice.

For whom?

The Cybersecurity Summer School is intended primarily for critical infrastructure operators. They are burdened with particular responsibility, since they protect the basic aspects of the lives of Poles – from energy, through communication, to healthcare. These social life aspects are susceptible to cyberterrorism and crime, and must be protected with greatest diligence.

Exatel will also be there

Our company will be represented by Jakub Syta, director of the Security Services Management Office. He is willing to share the outcomes of pure practice – the fruit of our everyday work on the cybersecurity of large organizations and important economy sectors. Specific examples of threats and solutions will be demonstrated during workshops and discussions.

“I am very happy that the knowledge we acquire on a daily basis can get a “second life” as educational material distributed by the Police to such important entities as Critical Infrastructure operators. We do not plan to duplicate declarations and strategies – our objective is to act efficiently and we will share the knowledge we gained in this regard. I am of the impression that the course participants also care more about working solutions and not theory. Knowledge in the field of cybersecurity is the most important counter-weapon we have. We are ready to act in this perspective – we have the talent, tools and proven procedures” – said Jakub Syta.

The Cybersecurity Summer School will be held from 10 to 14 July.
