This is yet another edition of the yearly CyberSec conference that EXATEL partners. For five years, during numerous debates, we have discussed the threats, challenges and opportunities associated with the development of new technologies, cyberspace expansion and digitization of our daily lives. The autumn edition of CYBERSEC Forum 2020 is devoted to the further development of cybersecurity within the new digital reality. Hence, its motto – CYBERSEC Forum 2020 – Together Against Adversarial Internet.
Military use of 5G technology (September 29, 2.35 p.m.)
The discussion will consider the opportunities entailed by implementing 5G in the military sector and for special services, as an integrated defence element. The panel will be attended by:

- Dr. Erica D. Borghard – Army Cyber Institute at the West Point academy; Senior Director and Lead at Task Force One, Cyberspace Solarium Commission,
- Riho Terras – member of the European Parliament,
- Nikodem Bończa Tomaszewski – President of the Board at EXATEL.
Teri Schultz – a freelance journalist at Deutsche Welle, NPR will be the moderator.
Geopolitics of Emerging Technologies (September 30 at 4.30 p.m.)
The agenda of CYBERSEC Forum 2020 also includes a presentation of a new Kościuszko Institute report entitled Geopolitics of Emerging Technologies that has been co-authored by EXATEL. Digital technologies constitute a new battleground in the rivalry between countries that is becoming the decisive factor in the ongoing struggle for world domination. Mastering artificial intelligence, cloud computing, Big Data and 5G – it will all be of fundamental significance to state development. The discussion on the new digital order that is taking shape before our eyes will be participated in by:
- Izabela Albrycht – president of the Kościuszko Institute and the chairwoman of the European Cybersecurity Forum Organizing Committee,
- dr Przemysław Roguski – employee at the Department of International Public Law at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, expert of the Kościuszko Institute,
- Michał Jaworski – Director for Technological Strategy and Board member at Microsoft,
- dr hab inż Teodor Buchner, EXATEL’s R&D expert, employee of the Warsaw University of Technology.
The panel will be moderated by Michał Rekowski – Director for Strategic Projects and Partnerships at the Kościuszko Institute.
