Facebook has begun releasing and encouraging the use of a free VPN. Its developer was the Israeli company ‘Onavo’, who has been a part of this social media tycoon since 2013.
The creators encourage using this specific app. According to the description, the user-generated traffic to the Internet will be encrypted. This will provide the user with greater privacy.

The corporation, however, does not mention that the entire encrypted traffic will pass through Facebook servers. Furthermore – the entire activity will be saved (and probably analysed) on the company’s servers.
