Digital Poland – the technological leap of the 5G network
The post-pandemic global reality has wrought irreversible changes, and we have been witnessing accelerated digital transformation. Numerous companies have moved their operation online, and some professions will permanently change their functioning to remote work. The behaviour of Poles in terms of digital content consumption is also changing. This is a challenge for telecommunications operators and companies who are faced with the need to prepare the national infrastructure for increased data collection demand and the number of coupled devices. This is followed by the need to incur the costs of modernizing the next-gen 5G.

#CybersecureLocalGovernment – how to do it right?
During this panel, the experts will discuss the role and needs of Local Government Units (LGUs). As indicated by po-audit statements by NIK (Supreme Audit Office) from 2018 and 2019, LGUs are faced with problems regarding in-house information security. This often involves elementary issues, such as the lack of current system/software updates or simply, the lack of appropriate security policy. Furthermore, the cases of attacks on Kościerzyna or Lututów show that LGUs are extremely vulnerable to cyberattacks. What are the cybersecurity-related needs of LGUs – is the situation really that bad? What needs to be done and what actions need to be taken in order to improve the standing in the short- and long-term?
