On January 19, 2024, EXATEL signed an agreement with the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) for the funding of the project “TAMAbox – virtual and physical devices protecting against DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks.” The project was selected for funding as part of the FENG.01.01-IP.01-001/23 SMART Pathway call. The total budget of the project is PLN 20,340,380, with a funding amount of PLN 10,560,625.

What is TAMAbox?

The TAMAbox project involves conducting industrial research and development work to create a technological solution for protecting networks and teleinformatics applications against advanced DDoS attacks. The solution will be based on the existing ecosystem of TAMA and TAMA PRO7 solutions. The final product of the TAMAbox project will be a device that, when installed in the Client’s infrastructure, will protect their resources from DDoS attacks. The solution will provide both detection and mitigation mechanisms for these attacks.
