Rapid7 Labs has published yet another report titled ‘National Exposure Index’. This is a periodic report made available since 2016. As a rule of thumb, it is a report supposedly presenting comparable data in terms of threats arising on the Internet.
The National Exposure Index report is slightly different each year
Even at first glance you can see that these reports have gained in volume with every passing year (2016 report – 30 pages, current report – 60 pages). Unfortunately – for the analysis itself – the ranking criteria has also changed. Nevertheless, it still remains an interesting read in that it reviews the current threat trends from the perspective of Rapid7 Labs.
