An IT manager with many years of experience in managing digital-oriented organizations. The creator and, in 2008-2012, the first general manager of the National Digital Archive (NAC). Afterwards, for four years he ran the Center for Informatics Technology (COI), which he transformed into a state-run digital competence center. Under his supervision COI independently constructed the National Registry System and a properly secured server facility – the Integrated Registry Infrastructure.

His managerial activities in the IT industry are focused on ensuring national sovereignty in the digital world and building the common wealth with the use of digital tools.

He formulated the idea of “state as a service provider”. Under his supervision, a series of solutions were developed aiming directly at citizens, including websites providing a dozen million digitized documents and old photographs, e-services platform OBYWATEL.GOV.PL, and also e-services historiapojazdu.gov.pl and bezpiecznyautobus.gov.pl.

The community of Polish IT managers awarded him the prestigious title of “Chief Information Officer of the Year 2015”.

In his free time he practices sport climbing.

An IT expert and manager with over ten years of experience. Co-founded the National Digital Archive (NAC). Mr Magryś was the head of the team responsible for the creation of the Integrated Archive Information System. As Deputy Director of the IT Project Center (CPI), he managed and implemented a remedy program after a well-known corruption crisis. Later, first as deputy director of the Centre for Informatics Technology (COI), and finally, as undersecretary of state in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he finalized the development and implementation of a new strategy for IT projects in the area of home affairs. The strategy resulted in building competence and operational capabilities of the COI and in the creation of the National Registry System (SRP). Afterwards, as director of Exatel’s Project Supervision and Risk Management Office, he was in charge of creating and managing a portfolio of projects in GK Exatel, creation and management of the corporate operational plan, developing cooperation with the public sector and coordination of preparation of company policy papers.

An active promoter and practitioner of the concept of state sovereignty in the digital world. Given the powers of IT corporations and external threats, this concept provides that the state must have ICT competence which allows it to defend its people and independently operate in the country’s strategic areas. He strongly supports the development of open source software. He worked as an expert in international teams specializing in digitization of historical art collections.

His interests include American literature of the 20th century and RTS games. An enthusiast of Podkarpacie – a picturesque region in south-east Poland.

Piotr Suszycki has many years of managerial experience gained in the telecommunications sector, in which he has been successfully building teams and managing sales departments on the domestic and international B2B market for over 20 years.

He started his professional career in 1998 at CEL Polska, where from 2000 he was the Sales Director. When CEL Polska was taken over by Energis Polska, he was responsible for sales to domestic and foreign telecommunications operators. After the takeover of Energis Polska by the GTS Group, Piotr took an active part in the process of integrating both companies and forming new sales structures – he managed operator and corporate sales in GTS Energis till 2009 (including the largest companies in Poland and representative offices of international concerns).

In the years 2008-2012 in British Telecommunications he managed sales in the GTM (Global Telecom Markets) and GIC (Global Indirect Channels) in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and the CIS countries. In 2013-2015 he was the Sales Director at TK Telekom and he held this function until the sale of the company. In 2016-2019 he was the Sales Director at Hawe Telekom.

Piotr Suszycki is a graduate of the University of Warsaw where he obtained a master’s degree at the Faculty of Organization and Management.

He is passionate about nature, Masuria and sport shooting.
