This year’s EXATEL Security Days conference is unique. For the first time, besides the two days of speeches and discussions, we are organizing day-long workshops built upon actual cybersecurity solutions. What will we talk about and which practical tools will we master?
Let us start with a company that needs no introduction in the cyberworld – Palo Alto Networks. We will learn the ecosystem of its solutions and their operating basics. The workshops last an entire day, but we will take regeneration, lunch and discussion breaks.
During the meeting, the participants will have the opportunity to become familiarized with various, unique elements and functions of the integrated and automated Palo Alto Networks security platform. Please note that in the course of the workshops, all those involved will have the chance to learn various solutions used both for the protection of networks, end stations and SaaS application, as well as for analysing the data acquired in terms of Threat Intelligence and Investigation & Response. The workshop part will be enhanced with an appropriate dose of theory, presented by a Palo Alto Networks system engineer, who will describe and explain the operating principles and integration of individual platform elements. Our guests will also help participants during the exercises and will try to answer even the trickiest questions. Besides the Palo Alto Networks expert, EXATEL Security Operation Centre employees will also be on the spot. These are people who use the aforementioned tools on a daily basis. Therefore, they have vast experience and a host of practical observations – which is something that is not easy to acquire single-handedly.
The solutions from Palo Alto Networks, a global leader in cybersecurity, are appreciated both by the top Polish companies from the energy, financial, transport and media industries, as well as by public administration entities, universities and private enterprises from the small and medium-sized enterprise sectors.
The exercises will involve conducting a ransomware attack, and the attneding will also learn about:
- possible protection using a next-gen firewall,
- possible protection using an advanced system for end station security,
- functions associated with detecting new, unknown malware,
- possible protection of SaaS apps,
- possible forensic analysis enabling detection of an incident and responding to it appropriately.
The workshops will be hands-on – so please bring your computer.
Participation will be confirmed by a special Palo Alto Networks and EXATEL certificate.
