From the very beginning, EXATEL has placed great emphasis on innovation, research, and development of new technologies. Noteworthy projects include Europe’s first public tests of 5G technology and our proprietary Cyber Threat Intelligence system.
EXATEL joined the Polish IoT & AI Cluster, establishing its position as a trusted provider of intelligent IoT&AI solutions.
The basis of the cooperation is the participation in the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) project, which is part of the European Commission’s “Digital Europe” programme. It aims to create support centres for the digitisation process, especially for SMEs and local governments, especially in the field of:
- development, sharing, and testing of technological solutions,
- networking and exchange of experience and knowledge,
- providing access to funding for deployment and training,
- implementing technological solutions.
One of the main tasks of the Cluster is the development of lasting cooperation between companies and scientific institutions and public administration, as well as business support organizations of the Silesian Voivodeship. The main goal is to create products and solutions for the Internet of Things with a focus on cybersecurity.
As part of the Cluster’s activities, the so-called showroom was also created, which is a cyber-physical space where Polish solutions in the area of IoT and cybersecurity are presented.
As of April 1, visitors of Katowice showroom will have a chance to learn about our solution – TAMA which is an answer for DDoS type attacks, and to watch simulation of an attack on an example e-shop. The showroom will be open to visitors until the end of this year.
