The latest regulation of the European Parliament and the Council of Europe on the protection of personal data has introduced significant changes for many entities. One of them is a much more stringent system of penalties for neglecting customer security. EXATEL has started a series of meetings for the business and public sector where security specialists advise how to utilize the two-year transition period and how to prepare for the GDPR amendment.

The first meeting was held in the Royal Łazienki in Warsaw, in the Belvedere restaurant. During its course, EXATEL experts explained what GDPR changes involved, whom they concerned, and what practical consequences for every organization type they bring.

Recent events around the world demonstrate the significance of the issue. Our cybersecurity specialists showed examples of attack models and associated data leaks. They also suggested how to protect against theft in the light of the stricter protection standards.
