The SEMAFOR 2017 conference has started today. It is one of the most important events in the information security and IT audit industry in Poland, with over 400 participants and dozens of exhibitors.
Our presence at this event is special. We offer a live presentation of our SOC (Security Operations Center). This is a product that can change the way institutions will be dealing with the issue of IT security. The SOC Lab demonstration showed the most important operational aspects of security operations centre activity in real time. In it, a team of our cybersecurity specialists demonstrated operational procedures and explained the technical aspects of SOC.
Security Baseline automation – or the security policy in practice
As part of SEMAFOR, on 31 March, Tomasz Wodziński (SOC manager) and Antoni Grzymała (security specialist), will give a lecture entitled “Security Baseline Automation”. The speech will review the basic issues related to security baseline standards. In particular, it will present the CIS (Center for Internet Security). In the further part, the lecturers will discuss problems associated with implementing security baseline guidelines. They will also discuss configuration management systems that will enable automating these processes within various scenarios and in the context of different hardware platforms. Furthermore, they will present a test environment, with the aforementioned solutions implemented in practice.
