Terms of Reference for the Contract (ToR)
A while back we wrote about commencing work on our proprietary TAMA anti-DDoS software. Now, our R&D project has entered a next stage. This is why we invite you to submit quotations for the supply of equipment required to continue the work.
What is TAMA?
This is an operator-class DDoS-protection system developed in Poland. The TAMA project will utilize algorithms and technologies developed by EXATEL in cooperation with the Warsaw University of Technology. Our contribution will be advanced network infrastructure and an experienced team of IT, cybersecurity (SOC) and telecommunications projects specialists. The project itself is co-financed by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR) as part of the CyberSecIdent program – Cybersecurity and e-Identity.
Research & development
The TAMA anti-DDoS project is already the second in the portfolio of EXATEL’s R&D department that has seen the light of day. The first was RAPID 5G, implemented together with a group of UE and Japanese institutions. We conducted the first Polish field tests of 5G technology as part of it.
There are many more research and development projects in EXATEL laboratories. We undertake some of them ourselves – for in-house needs. We hope that you will be able to soon hear about our other projects.
We create, not recreate.
EXATEL is one of Poland’s largest telecommunications operators. We also deal with cybersecurity, software development, as well as research and development (R&D). This last is the fastest growing EXATEL department, with numerous new, unique career opportunity openings. There are many job vacancies in the IT industry, but there are a few places that actually develop new technologies and implement them on the market.
If you would like to join our R&D team – see the available job offers.
