On Monday, June 5, we signed a partnership agreement with the Technical and Secondary School Complex (ZSTiO) in Jarosław. As a result of this cooperation, starting with the 2017/2018 school year, there will be an ICT technician class. This is the first specialization of this type in Poland.

“Much is said that schools do not convey practical knowledge corresponding to current company needs. This is particularly visible in terms of the new technologies industry, where the demand for qualified employees is huge. This is why the joint initiative of the ZSTiO in Jarosław and Exatel is a step in the right direction” – commented Tadeusz Chrzan, staroste of the Jarosław county, who was present when the agreement was signed.

As a modern vocational school, we try to keep up with the technological development and market trends. This is why launching this attractive specialization is something natural to us, since we can utilize our vast didactic base and the high skills of our teachers. Furthermore, this also falls in line with our mission, which is for our graduates to leave our school with a prestigious profession in their hands. Our partner, Exatel, plays a key role in this regard. The company will enable our students to compare theory with practise, hence, be better prepared for their future profession” – says Adam Tomaszewski, headmaster at Stefan Banach ZSTiO in Jarosław.

The cooperation on our side is not solely limited to take patronage over the said specialization. Above all, it is about ongoing exchange of information in the field of modern technologies, substantive support in the course of learning, access to advanced equipment and to various forms of activation supporting student development.

We would like to assist students in gaining the practical skills that are required to work in ICT companies, such as Exatel. Moreover, as a state-owned company, we are very serious about the issue of the widely-understood notions of sustainable development and personnel training. We are very willing to support local initiatives. I truly believe that more evidence of this will soon come to light” – says Rafał Magryś, Exatel Vice-President of the Board.

Recruitment to the new class is now underway.
