Report on the preliminary study for #Polskie5G completed

Signatories to the “Memorandum of Understanding” – an agreement signed on 28 October 2019 in respect of developing an effective business model for #Polskie5G – ended work on the preliminary study of this project. The report, which summarizes the conducted work, contains three feasibility models regarding the construction of a homogeneous 5G network in the 700 MHz band. The modelling process covered economic and technical aspects, including planning of a homogeneous radio network throughout the country, analysis of infrastructure and resource sharing, and the possibility of utilizing #Polskie5G for the purposes of the Special Connectivity Wireless Network. The work was carried out by a working team composed of representatives from EXATEL S.A., PFR S.A., Polkomtel Sp. z o.o. (Plus network operator), P4 Sp. z o.o. (Play network operator), Orange Polska S.A. and T-Mobile Polska S.A. with advisory support from NetWorkS companies Sp. z o.o. and Accenture Sp. z o.o.

The joint developer preliminary analysis report involving #Polskie5G in the 700 MHz band was submitted to the Prime Minister.
