On June 20 of this year, EXATEL joined the Swedish traffic exchange – Netnod. The point currently handles 1.5 Tbps of traffic. EXATEL’s presence in Sweden will help increase network reliability and optimize the distribution of Internet traffic by, among other things, reducing delays.
For several years, the company has been gradually expanding the range of its network outside the country. The cooperation with Netnod is another significant step in the expansion of one of EXATEL’s key business areas – IP transit. Sweden’s PWR has joined our family of foreign traffic exchange points (after DE-CIX, AMS-IX, LINX, NIX.CZ, France-IX, DTEL-IX, EQUINIX-IX FRA and AMS) expanding EXATEL’s IP network capacity.
